Since its founding in 2003, MDM Transportation Consultants has produced an extensive portfolio of projects for public and private sector Clients throughout Massachusetts, developing transportation design solutions through close collaboration with communities and impacted project stakeholders. We begin every project by first understanding key client objectives and, where appropriate, engaging with community staff, leaders and impacted abutters. Effective transportation solutions are developed that both meet client objectives and are sensitive to community goals - leading to project outcomes that improve community infrastructure and safety for all transportation modes - whether pedestrian, bicycle, transit or vehicle.

Robert J. Michaud, P.E., MSCE

Managing Principal

Bob has served as President and Managing Principal of MDM since its founding in 2003. His experience spans over 36 years in the transportation planning and engineering field, specializing in permitting and transportation engineering for complex land development projects, roadway corridor and intersection improvements, multi-modal transportation evaluations, and transportation peer review. He regularly serves as an expert witness before the Massachusetts Land Court and Energy Facility Siting Board. Mr. Michaud is a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and New Hampshire.

Daniel J. Mills, P.E., PTOE
Principal

Dan serves as a Principal of the firm with over 30 years of transportation engineering experience, specializing in transportation evaluations for public and private sector entities including corridor and intersection designs and construction administration services. Mr. Mills is a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, a registered Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) and a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) and International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA).
